Wingate Charity Golf Day 2024

We recently held our Charity Supply Chain Golf Day. We had a great day in good weather at Sandford Springs.

We would like to thank all the staff at Sandford Springs and all of our supply chain who paid to enter a team, provided auction and raffle prizes, and wholeheartedly supported us as they have in all of our previous events.

Due to their support, we were able to raise £21,450 for the incredible Naomi House & Jacksplace who continue to provide much needed hospice care for children and young adults with life-threatening illnesses.

With the continued support of our supply chain over the years, we have now raised over £78,000 toward the running costs of this fantastic organisation.

A special mention for Joe Warren of Jocawa who won an iPad and TV in the auction and immediately donated them to Naomi House and Jacksplace, which again demonstrates the overwhelming generosity of our supply chain.

Congratulations to the AJG Team of Peter Cant, Fred Petley, Paul Frewin and John Munro on their victory.

We would like to thank the following companies for attending and supporting the day:

Abird Power Solutions, Gallagher, Aggreko, Anixter, AT&T GB LTD, Batt Cables Limited, Blakley Electrics Ltd , Cleveland Cable Company, Clement Young, Critical Power Solutions, Edmundson Electrical Ltd, Grant & Stone, Jocawa, John F Hunt Power, KEW Electrical, KES Power & Light Ltd, Project Power, Power Testing Limited, Ramtech Global, Rexel, Rullion Build, Star Platforms & Wolseley Group

We look forward to seeing you all again next year.

Celebrating 50 Years of Wingate Electrical Plc

Wingate Electrical Plc are proud to be celebrating our 50th anniversary in 2023. Since 1973, when Ray and Teresa Frewin started the business from their home in Basingstoke, we have grown to an estimated turnover in excess of £56M this financial year. This reinforces our position as the largest provider of Construction Site Services in the UK and Europe, having completed over 20,000 projects since 1973.

Our Building Services Division has also established itself as one of the largest electrical installers of solar farms in the UK.

We have implemented an extensive training regime, employing over 400 apprentices during this time, who are now qualified tradespersons. We continue to work with the next generation to ensure the future of the industry.

We are also proud to have significantly supported many charitable organisations both nationwide and locally, including but not limited to, the fantastic Naomi House and Jacksplace, and the Lighthouse Charity.

Our growth and success would not be possible without the dedication, enthusiasm, expertise and hard work of all of our employees past and present. We appreciate the ongoing support of our supply chain, who have served us fantastically over the years, and all of our clients who continue to entrust the temporary services packages on their projects with us.

We thank you all.

We recently had a day out at Newbury Race Course which was an opportunity for everyone to celebrate our incredible milestone and continued success. It was an absolute pleasure to host our retired chairman, Ray Frewin, without whom there would be no Wingate Electrical Plc.
