Some Current and Completed Projects
1. Project Diamond
Diamond Light Source is a new scientific facility built in South Oxfordshire on the Harwell Chilton science campus. The Diamond synchrotron is the largest UK-funded scientific facility to be built for over 30 years. Per above picture.
2. MoD
Project Allenby/Connaught is a Private Finance Initiative (PFI) accommodation and services project, which will provide modern living and working accommodation for 18,000 military and civilian personnel in the Salisbury Plain and Aldershot Garrisons. This project will significantly and positively affect the lives of nearly 20% of the soldiers in the British Army. The contract was awarded to Aspire Defence Limited in 2006 and will run over 35 years, Wingate Electrical Plc are providing electrical services to the site during the construction build.x
3. BSkyB
An Extension to BskyB Television Studios built by Lend Lease. The floor plate 250,000 sq ft (internal) for eight broadcast studios, ancillary control rooms and a technical office.x
4. Gloucester Quays
Gloucester Quays is a major £200 million, mixed-use retail led development, occupying 25 hectares of largely industrial land and derelict buildings in the centre of Gloucester town centre alongside the historic Gloucester to Sharpness canal. Gloucester Quays is the single largest development scheme ever undertaken in Gloucester and provides over 150,000m2 of floor space on the 60 acre Brownfield site. Lend Lease was the main contractor for Phase 1 of the development which brought over 50 shops and restaurants to the City of Gloucester.
